IT Systems & Support Officer
Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, approachable and hands-on IT Systems & Support Officer to support our Brisbane office and wider business operations.
This role is responsible for day-to-day IT support, device setup and management, remote monitoring and maintenance, and assisting with business system requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, strong security practices and reliable system performance as we continue progressing toward ISO 27001 compliance.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Office Operations
* Provide friendly, responsive support to staff across the Brisbane office and other sites as required
* Respond to technical support tickets and resolve issues efficiently
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and user access issues
* Set up and maintain desk monitors, docking stations, peripherals and connectivity
* Support staff with day-to-day IT questions and system usage
Device Procurement & Setup
* Procure, configure and deploy laptops, mobile phones, tablets and related equipment
* Manage onboarding and offboarding of user devices
* Maintain IT asset records and documentation
* Ensure devices are configured securely and consistently
Systems Administration
* Administer NinjaOne (or equivalent remote monitoring and management platform)
* Monitor system health and proactively address issues
* Support and maintain service platform systems
* Quickly learn and adapt to internal systems and software platforms
Security & Compliance
* Assist with maintaining and strengthening data security controls across the business
* Identify and action security risks, vulnerabilities and access issues
* Support ISO 27001 compliance activities, including documentation and control implementation
* Ensure devices and user access align with security best practice
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in IT support, service desk or systems administration
* Familiarity with NinjaOne or other remote monitoring/management systems (required)
* Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software environments
* Clear communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
* Strong organisational and documentation skills
Highly Regarded
* Experience supporting Uptick and/or SimPRO
* Experience working in a growing or multi-site organisation
* ISO 27001 experience
* Exposure to Artificial Intelligence tools and automation, including:
o Understanding of AI applications in business environments
o Experience assisting with AI-related projects or implementations
o Awareness of responsible and secure AI usage practices
