Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for delivering advanced engineering solutions across multiple concurrent projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical specifications and control systems, with a passion for designing and implementing advanced electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Create detailed technical specifications, schematics, and diagrams for electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and automation systems.
* Conduct thorough analysis and testing of electrical designs to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in electrical design, preferably within the water, industrial, or manufacturing sectors
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
* A solid understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations
