Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of a team that specialises in providing financial and company secretarial support services to a diverse range of clients. Play a crucial role in assisting clients plan for their future by managing their budgeting & forecasting processes. An opportunity to develop and implement financial governance policies and procedures while ensuring that all annual compliance obligations are met.
What you'll do:
1. Oversee and manage clients' financial reporting functions
2. Lead the process of processing and bookkeeping for clients
3. Responsible for end of month, quarter, and year-end reconciliations for general ledgers
4. Prepare or review monthly management reporting, including analysis of key trends and variances
5. Prepare listed companies' quarterly cashflow reports
6. Assist clients in planning for the future through budgeting and forecasting process
7. Develop and implement financial governance policies and procedures
8. Manage client's annual compliance obligations
What you bring:
1. 3 years experience in a similar role
2. Experience in an audit role is an advantage
3. Ability to define performance measures and assess objectives
4. Ability to identify problems, investigate, evaluate, integrate information, and determine the best solution
5. Cooperative team engagement skills
6. Leadership skills aligned with firm's values
7. Business growth skills including identifying business opportunities and developing new products/services
8. Technical expertise in business, functional knowledge
