Refrigeration Installation Technician Job Overview
This role involves ensuring that stores provide great service to customers by installing refrigeration equipment, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with site teams and project managers.
* Install refrigeration equipment into new and renewal sites.
* Plan, coordinate, and complete projects in conjunction with the site team and project manager.
* Assist the project manager in scheduling labour resources and ordering materials.
* Liaise with the technical team on task status and work closely with construction teams.
* A qualified supervisor certificate or endorsed contractor licence is required, along with an Arctick Refrigerant Handling Licence, Construction Induction, and Driver's Licence.
* Post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in supermarket work, is desirable.
* Leading hand/job running experience in commercial refrigeration is highly sought after.
* Experience within the commercial refrigeration service and installation industry, with commercial supermarket experience preferred.
* A solid understanding of supermarket rack systems and confidence in new refrigeration/air conditioning control technologies are essential.
