This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, customer and data-driven Product Designer to create and lead the UX design function of a SaaS scale-up with enterprise clients across APAC, EU and the Americas.
Reporting to the chief product officer and working closely with our product manager and engineering team, the role encompasses two areas:
- UX/UI design of internal and external web-based user interfaces for the LUX customer acquisition platform
- Leading the UX/UI design of LUX Smart Page templates that power up to 30% of web pages for eCommerce clients in JAPAC, EU and US; including clients such as Woolworths, Myer, Catch and Dan Murphy's in Australia

Working closely with our Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Research: Investigate UX best practices that are specifically applicable to web-based SaaS user interfaces, reporting dashboards and ecommerce website UX, and understand user behaviour specifications
- User interviews and discovery: Conducting user interviews with the Product Manager to understand user problems that we should be solving
- User mapping: Creating experience maps and documenting user flows and user journeys
- Ideation: Working with internal stakeholders to collectively understand and define problems and propose solutions together
- Prototyping: Creating both simple wireframe designs that are easy to iterate as well as user-centric and intuitive high-fidelity prototypes
- User Testing: Subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing and A/B experiments to refine solutions based on user feedback and data-driven insights
- Design system: Create and manage a design system and associated documentation to enable standardization and cohesive customer experience
- Collaboration: Briefing and working closely with the internal development team as well as collaborating with expert client UX/UI teams; communicate design ideas and prototypes to technical delivery stakeholders
- User interface design: Create high-end user interfaces and interaction designs that are innovative and adapt to new UX/UI trends; optimise existing user interface designs
**Requirements**:
**You're perfect for this role if you have**:
**Experience**:
- 5+ years experience as a UX/Product designer or similar including visual and interaction design and creating interactive prototypes
- 2+ years experience working for an eCommerce business/marketplace brand is a plus
- Exposure to B2B software and SaaS platforms
- Experience designing B2B client-facing data visualisation dashboards
- Proven track record of shipping interactive products with high levels of complexity, showcasing your product-thinking expertise
- Experience in running user interviews in the discovery phase to validate user problems
- Evidence of running design sprints
- Expertise in visual communication design, wireframe design, UI creation, prototype development and user testing is essential
- Proven track record of working with development teams using agile methodology
- Experience in working across all aspects of the product cycle from ideation to creation, launch, and improvement in a high-tech environment
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Advanced user knowledge of UX/UI software - Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, InVision, User Testing tools and alike
- Experience with website A/B testing and CRO software such as Google Optimize and Optimizely, with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual and a natural problem-solver
