About The Opportunity
As theDraftsperson, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and success.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare models & drawings for engineering projects, from concept through to detailed manufacturing
* Downloading of factory models for customer presentation and conversion to 2D drawings
* Ensure that drawings for projects are completed on time and in accordance with defined standards.
* Ensure drawings comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Liaise with Engineering, fabrication, and sales personnel to ensure goals are being met.
* Develop Bills of Material & Material Take-offs
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* 6+ years' experience in an engineering/drafting role
* Ability to develop drawings & models from concept through to manufacturing
* Extensive experience with some, or all, of, the following packages:
* AutoCAD
* NX
* Solidworks
* PDM
* Knowledge around mechanical design & steel fabrication
* High level of computer literacy, including packages such as Excel, Word, etc.
* Ability to work within a team
* Good problem solving and creativity skills
