Tony Cook Building Design is seeking an experienced and dedicated Building Designer and Revit Drafter to join our professional team on a full-time basis, creating detailed technical drawings and models for residential properties.
Duties & responsibilities:
* Provide preliminary designs and working drawings for residential project homes, one-off designs, renovations, and duplex dwellings
* Attend job consultations and meetings with clients and builders
* Oversee the completion of documentation and timely submissions of Residential Building Approvals
* Liaise with the councils and other relevant authorities
* Check over your own work for accuracy
Experience & attributes:
* Minimum of 10 years' experience working with ANZ building standards and codes (BCA)
* Over 10 years' experience and knowledge of Revit
* Sound structural knowledge and design ability
* Full Australian working rights & residence
* Proactive and confident approach to work
* Ability to show initiative and ensure work is completed to requisite standards
