Your Role
* Lead and support landfill design and construction projects, including cell development, capping, gas/leachate management, and stormwater controls.
* Lead and contribute to proposal development and winning work.
* Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and industry‐recognised technical experts to deliver designs that are robust, safe, and regulation‐ready.
* Take part in independent expert reviews, technical workshops, and stakeholder briefings.
* Mentor junior engineers and help raise the bar on design best practices across the team.
What We're Looking For
* 8-15 years of experience in landfill, civil, or environmental infrastructure projects.
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status through Engineers Australia – or actively working toward it.
* Strong technical skills in landfill design, environmental compliance, and relevant design/modelling tools (e.g. Civil 3D, 12D, water balance or gas modelling).
* A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can engage confidently with experts and regulators alike.
