About This Opportunity
The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at The University of Queensland is seeking a Senior Content Designer to create and optimise high-quality web content across Faculty and University websites.
You'll champion best-practice, user-centred digital content, collaborate with expert stakeholders, and help elevate the Faculty's online presence. Joining a high-performing marketing and digital team, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at one of the world's leading universities.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Design, write create and optimise web and visual content in partnership with content owners to elevate the Faculty's profile and deliver engaging, accessible and on-brand digital experiences for diverse audiences.
* Champion best-practice digital and web strategy, advising stakeholders on content, UX and website solutions to drive engagement, performance and measurable outcomes.
* Manage and maintain Faculty web platforms, including overseeing the website inbox, coordinating updates, preparing event pages and promotional content, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
* Analyse performance and continuously improve content, using reporting and insights to refine user journeys, calls to action and content effectiveness, while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About You
* Relevant qualifications in communications, digital marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
* You bring 4+ years' experience creating, managing and optimising website content within a digital marketing or communications environment.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of online publishing best practice.
* You have hands-on experience with content management systems (such as Drupal) and working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
* Working knowledge of digital and analytics tools, including Google Analytics, SEMRush, Clarity, accessibility tools and Photoshop.
* You're confident consulting with and presenting to a wide range of stakeholders, including executives, technical teams and subject-matter experts, and have strong interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes.
* You're proactive and self-directed, while also thriving in a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
