As a Storeperson at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring efficient stock control for site.
This position is based at Kalamia Mill in North Queensland's Burdekin region, known for its stunning landscapes, rich agricultural heritage, and a vibrant community. The Burdekin region offers a fantastic lifestyle with a warm climate, beautiful beaches and a range of recreational activities, making it a great place to live and work.
The permanent position follows a year-round day work roster pattern (with RDOs most Fridays) and may require some weekend work and overtime.
Your Role in Action
* Service Star: Issue goods from stock using system and process requirements. Assist employees at the counter.
* Master of stock: Facilitate regular stocktaking and maintain accurate records. Record and report stock outs. Ensure availability of maintenance spares and equipment.
* Loading, Unloading and Everything In Between: Process incoming and outgoing deliveries.
* Safety Champion: Ensure all store areas are kept clean and tidy and that dangerous goods are handled in accordance with MSDS.
Your Winning Combination
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, have experience using SAP (or similar warehousing software) and have worked in a warehouse previously. Bonus points for applicants with a Forklift High Risk Work Licence.
