The position is responsible for operating and maintaining tool room machinery for tool production and repair. Quick response times to tooling breakdowns are crucial to minimize production disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture new tools and ancillary parts from technical drawings or replicating existing components
* Carry out repairs and modifications to production tooling, including extrusion and moulding tools
* Provide support to maintenance operations when needed
* Troubleshoot tooling-related production issues and assist with breakdown recovery
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in precision engineering
* Proficient in operating and maintaining tool room machinery
* Capable of interpreting and working from technical drawings
* Familiarity with repair and modification of extrusion and mould tools
