Your New Role
In this pivotal position, you will take full responsibility for the site's maintenance performance, ensuring all machinery, utilities and plant infrastructure operate reliably, safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing a multi disciplinary maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and technical excellence
* Driving maintenance strategies across preventative, predictive and reactive streams
* Providing hands on technical support to troubleshoot, fault find and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues
* Managing maintenance planning, scheduling, work prioritisation and engineering improvement initiatives
* Optimising uptime across a wide range of processing, blending, batching, packaging and automation equipment
* Supporting site upgrades and capital projects aligned with significant organisational investment
* Ensuring compliance with all quality, WHS and regulatory requirements
* This is a highly practical leadership role suited to someone who thrives on both leading people and being directly involved in technical problem solving.
What You'll Need to Succeed
You will be an experienced maintenance leader with a strong trade background and a passion for developing high performing teams. Your experience will include:
* Proven success leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environment
* Strong trade qualifications (mechanical, electrical, fabrication or similar)
* Advanced fault finding and breakdown troubleshooting skills across a variety of machinery types
* Experience working in large, complex sites with fast paced production environments
* Demonstrated ability to build capability, coach technicians and uplift technical proficiency
* Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, solutions focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
