Base salary range from $101,445 - $112,560 per annum (plus super and overtime)
Ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an Electrical Technician who's keen to grow into a Lineworker role. You'll work across LV and HV equipment, supporting construction and maintenance on major network infrastructure while building your capability in linework.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
As an Electrical Technician, you'll play a key part in delivering safe, high‑quality and cost‑effective services across TasNetworks' electrical infrastructure. Day to day, you'll:
* Deliver safe, efficient and high‑quality electrical work that meets customer expectations and project timeframes.
* Repair, maintain and construct the distribution network.
* Operate across the HV and LV network within your qualifications.
* Install LV services, support metering work, and complete general maintenance on tools, equipment and vehicles.
* Follow all TasNetworks safety processes and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Alongside the day‑to‑day tasks of an Electrical Technician, you'll have the opportunity to undertake training at our own RTO and transition toward a Lineworker qualification.
About you
* Tasmanian Electrical Practitioner Licence.
* Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician.
* HRW licences (DG, WP, CV) and MR/HR licence – desirable.
* A focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems.
* Motivation to grow, learn and step into new challenges.
