Our client, a highly regarded consumer products business, are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support their finance team during a period of growth. Key responsibilities: Assist with the month-end close, including preparing and posting journals, accruals, and prepayments Oversee accounts payable and receivable processing, including reconciliations and follow-ups Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries. Prepare bank, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with audit requirements About you: Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role (or strong transactional accounting experience with month-end exposure) Solid understanding of AP, AR, and general ledger processes Degree qualified and studying towards CA/CPA Confident using accounting software and Excel If this sounds like the role for you, click APPLY NOW or email madi.towner@perigongroup.com.au
