We’re looking for a Junior Video Editor to join our team on a contract or casual basis. This is a great prospect for someone starting out in the industry who wants hands-on editing experience and the chance to work on a variety of creative projects.
The Role
You’ll be working with a small creative team to cut together engaging videos for web and social platforms. You’ll gain exposure to real-world client projects, workflows, and problem-solving in the edit suite.
This is a casual role with flexible hours. On average, you can expect around one day a week of editing, with the potential for additional days when projects ramp up. Work will fluctuate depending on our pipeline, so it’s well-suited to someone who values flexibility or is building their portfolio.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- A strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual style
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in communication
- Ability to manage deadlines and troubleshoot issues independently
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects, etc.)
- Knowledge of social video formats and best practices
- Interest in storytelling and creative experimentation
Location
Brisbane-based (needed for occasional footage collection). Most work can be completed remotely – no regular office attendance required.
