About the Positions
Western Australia regional hospitals are currently actively seeking Consultant Psychiatrists across a range of subspecialties, including general adult, community, old age, child and adolescent, and addiction psychiatry. We welcome applications from psychiatrists with a strong background in delivering holistic and patient-centred care across diverse clinical settings, including hospital-based and community environments.
Support and Incentives
- Superannuation (pension) - an additional 11.5% of your salary that your employer contributes to a retirement fund, on top of your regular pay, accessible when you retire

- Long Service Rewards* - after first 3 years of continuous service, lump sum paid equivalent to 12 weeks service approx. $99,318 AUD subsequent years will pay lump sum equivalent of 4 weeks approx. $33,106 AUD. (specific locations only).
- Medical Indemnity Insurance - professional liability insurance covered to salaried medical practitioners working in the Western Australian public sector health system*
- Overtime rates are paid for shift, weekend, and public holidays.

Requirements
- To be eligible for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), or equivalent.
- RANZCP trainees who are in their penultimate year of training and have completed all training requirements.
- Demonstrated high level skills and experience in contemporary Psychiatry practice (preferably in a range of settings).
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
