Indigeco is recruiting a "Manager - Operational Contracts" for our client, a major NSW Government agency. This is a 6 month contract supporting operational contract management across a complex public sector environment. The role is responsible for managing contracts, subcontracts and supplier panels across their lifecycle, with a strong focus on performance, governance, risk, probity and value for money. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and manage detailed Contract Management Plans, including KPIs, governance structures, risk mitigation, performance monitoring and outcomes reporting Manage supplier panels and contract performance to ensure alignment with operational, commercial and contractual objectives Provide clear advice to stakeholders on contract clauses, supplier performance strategies, procurement outcomes and commercial risks Lead performance reviews, reporting, variation assessments, claims analysis and audit support across contracts and panel arrangements Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and panel members to resolve issues and maximise contract value Prepare for and lead complex negotiations relating to variations, renewals, claims, disputes and supplier performance matters Identify commercial, contractual, operational, financial and reputational risks, ensuring strong probity and public accountability standards are maintained YOUR REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated experience managing complex contracts, supplier panels or commercial arrangements across the full contract lifecycle Strong understanding of procurement, contract governance, probity, risk management and supplier performance frameworks Experience assessing contract variations, value for money, claims, renewals and commercial risk Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and resolve complex supplier or contractor matters Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience in contract or commercial support environments Experience supporting infrastructure, maintenance, operational services or government related contracts will be highly regarded YOUR PERKS Day pay rate of $750 - $900 Super 6 month contract opportunity Work with a major NSW Government organisation High-impact role supporting complex operational contracts Opportunity to contribute to improved supplier performance, governance and contract outcomes HOW TO APPLY If you are an experienced contracts or commercial manager with strong procurement, supplier management and negotiation skills, we would love to hear from you.
