HOW WILL YOU HELP US ACHIEVE OUR GOALS?
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with our outsourced BSC team to support the operational finance functions of the hotel. Your high level of accuracy, proactive approach, and eye for detail will ensure the smooth back end running of Hotel X. Every day is different, but mostly you will:
* Manage accounts receivable and payable (invoicing, payment processing, reconciliation)
* Perform bank reconciliations and recording transactions
* Maintain records in the accounting system and organise financial documentation
* Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
* Organise and file accounting records for audit and compliance purposes
* Support the Finance Manager with the daily finance workflow
* Coordinate with other departments (e.g. Front Office, Housekeeping) for accurate expense tracking
* Assist in internal and external audit processes

Reporting through to the Finance Manager, this is a Part Time role working 22.5 hours per week.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
* 1–2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles
* Previous experience within the Hotel Industry or Tourism & Hospitality is highly regarded
* Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP software is an advantage
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously, be proactive and take accountability for your workload
* High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
* Tertiary studies in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
