We are seeking an experienced Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement repair plans for equipment to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to obtain necessary technical information and resources.
* Create cost estimates and detailed proposals for customers.
* Plan and schedule repair activities in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of repair processes.
* Provide technical support and guidance to workshops and vendors as needed.
* Conduct quality control inspections to ensure repairs meet company standards.
* Inspect jobs prior to dispatch and sign off relevant documentation.
* Maintain continual communication with customers regarding job progress.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role or related field.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including drawings, safety procedures, and operating instructions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
* Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with SAP is an asset.
