What you will get: Great hourly rates, paid weekly Flexible roster, choose your shifts from our app Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residents What you will have: Previous experience in aged care cookery (for Aged Care Chefs) Covid & Flu vaccination certificates up to date (for Aged Care Chefs) Able to work independently to prepare and cook meals for a small group of residents Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience in catering to various nutritional needs Familiarity with HACCP standards, WH&S guidelines, and safe food handling practices Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Genuine care and compassion for the well-being of the residents you are cooking for Ability to obtain a valid Police Check Able to collaborate with the care team to ensure individual dietary needs are met, including considerations for allergies, intolerances, and cultural preferences Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following proper sanitation procedures Uniform : White long-sleeved Chef jacket, chef pants, knives, apron, chef hat, safety shoes Keen to join us?
