Deakin Dental Care is a modern, patient centric practice offering all aspects of general dentistry and we are looking for a Full-Time/Part- Time Associate Dentist to join our small team of dental professionals.
About You:
· Ideally, 4+ years of experience in general dentistry and is confident in providing treatment, however for the right candidate, a new graduate may also be considered
· Able to develop a rapport with patients, a drive to build your own patient base and help us to grow our practice
· Able to build a rapport with, and take on, a retiring dentist's established patient base
· Able to work with the Principal Dentist, other Associates and Practice Manager
· Be empathetic, understanding and patient centric in all aspects of your practice
· Works well within a team and is able to develop professional relationships with all staff
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Able to develop and sell treatment plans to patients
· Is proactive, is able to help and support the practice as a whole
· Looks for professional development opportunities and is open to learning and developing new skills
· Hold the relevant qualifications, registration and insurance to be able to practice dentistry in Australia
About the role:
· Full-time or Part-Time opportunity available (some flexibility with days/hours for right candidate)
· Ideally, available and willing to work some Saturday mornings (some flexibility with this and not every Saturday will be required)
· Modern, digitalized practice with a brand new fit out
· Use of Primescanner, OPG and CBCT in house
· Free parking and close to bus stops
· Commission based role
· Support and mentorship for our Principal Dentist and experienced Senior Associate Dentist both of whom treat patients under IV sedation in the practice, having operating rights at a local hospital and between them, have 40+ years of experience in the Canberra region
· Encouragement and support to further develop skills
