OverviewAbout the RoleWe are expanding our vehicle processing operations and are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics team based in Derrimut.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities, supporting key client accounts, and ensuring the smooth operation of our national supply chain.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate transportation from wharf to various locations across Australia.Manage national inbound and outbound logistics activities for OEMs and ad-hoc customers.Support cross-functional activities with the Vehicle Processing Centre (VPC) team nationally.Act as the primary point of contact for logistics queries, providing high-level customer service and timely updates.Liaise with internal teams, customers, service providers, and government agencies (e.g., Customs, DAWR) to ensure smooth operations and contract objectives are met.Drive continuous improvement through system enhancements, process reviews, and cost-saving initiatives.Maintain strong relationships with industry bodies and service providers.Support port operations and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet KPIs and customer deliverables.Monitor vehicle and equipment flow to detect and resolve supply chain deviations.Coordinate with service technicians for breakdowns, inspections, and technical support.Maintain and update transport planners, logistics data, reports, and customer SharePoint records to ensure visibility and compliance.Process and approve invoices for services and storage within KPI requirements; manage and reconcile transport invoices.Support claims management and customs clearance processes.Collaborate with commercial and contract managers to enhance service delivery.Provide backup support to other Logistics Coordinators and contribute to cross-functional team activities.Job RequirementsWhat You'll BringMandarin language skills are an advantage.Minimum 3 years' experience or study in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.Strong knowledge of shipping, transport regulations, and government agency requirements Australia.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to build and manage positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.High level of competence with logistics systems and applications.Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior, safety, and continuous improvement.Positive, approachable, and "can do" attitude.Why Join Us?
