We want people who are professional, reliable, innovative, motivated and looking to be challenged.We are currently seeking a Composites Engineer based at Eagle Farm in Brisbane working on the development of high temperature fibre reinforced composite materials and structures.Key responsibilities and duties:Working with a small team of engineers and technicians on projects to meet schedule, budget and quality targets.Development of materials and processing techniques to meet performance specifications.Characterisation of material structure and properties.Design and manufacture of components for test and evaluation programs.Documentation and communication of methods and results.Required skills/experience:A relevant engineering degree (Aerospace / Mechanical / Materials) and recent experience.Technical expertise in composites materials and manufacturing methods (resin transfer moulding, prepreg and resin infusion techniques), with experience processing ceramics desirable.Understanding of resin systems and chemistry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work within tight schedules in a team-based role.High temperature testing and characterisation.CADThermo-structural analysis and design.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience directly through Seek via the accompanying "Apply for this job" button.Applications will only be received from those candidates who are an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance.
