We're partnering with Greentech Newcastle who are seeking a Sales Rep / BDM to assist the branch to its next phase of growth.
If you've cut your teeth leading a trade-focused branch (think electrical wholesale, solar energy or closely related) or are driven by sales growth by actively engaging clients on the road by expanding customer base, and want true autonomy to grow people, sales and margin then this is for you!

The Opportunity
You'll have the opportunity to join an exciting team as a Sales Rep or BDM with room to grow in a close-knit, all-hands-on-deck environment, small-team culture with strong camaraderie and flexibility.
Daily Outlook
* Drive sales growth by actively engaging clients on the road and expanding the customer base.
* Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised targeted sales strategies.
* Building business relationships with current and potential customers involving creating and maintaining a database of prospective clients and their information.
* Understanding customer needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential customer questions and follow-up enquiries.
* Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential customers; closing sales and working with the customer through the closing process.
* Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
* Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software.
* Collaborating with Centre Manager on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
* Ad hoc duties around the branch to assist.
What We Need
* Proven success in a Sales role (solar experience ideal, adjacent trade wholesale also welcome).
* Proactive, resilient, and accountable.
* Energetic, and highly motivated with a genuine desire to contribute to a growing team.
* Can work successfully as part of a team and autonomously.
* Previous experience in a BDM role, identifying leads and driving new business growth.
* Strong drive, a genuine passion for sales and the ability to proactively build relationships.
* Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets through new business acquisition.
* Experience in face-to-face client interaction, including cold visits to generate new business.
* The ability to independently manage a territory and proactively contributes to team sales goals.
* A self-starter with a fresh approach to business development.

* Hours: Mon‐Fri (flexibly 7am - 4:30pm or 8am - 5:30pm)
