Family Services Practitioner - Outreach
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our organization as a Family Services Practitioner. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with families to provide support and guidance through difficult times.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with families creatively, consulting with Child Protection, and collaborating within a team for effective intervention planning. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
* Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with the family and other professionals
* Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
* Provide support and guidance to families to help them overcome challenges
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of family interactions
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant qualifications and experience in social work or a related field
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
