At Farm Owners Academy, our Business Coaches are known as Accountability Coaches. This reflects our strong focus on implementation, ownership and measurable progress.

* Grow your Coaching and Leadership Skills: We provide world‐class coach and leadership training to our Accountability Coach contractors.
Role Purpose:
As an Accountability Coach, you will support a portfolio of 6‐8 growth‐oriented farm business clients through our three‐year Platinum Mastermind Program. Your role is to help members stay focused, take action, and achieve meaningful progress in their business and personal development.
This is a coaching role built on consistency, care, and accountability. You'll guide members through the challenges of running a farm business – helping them build clarity, confidence, and capability along the way.
You'll be part of a collaborative coaching team, reporting to the Head Coach, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional member experience.
Our Platinum Mastermind Program focuses on skills advancement in:
* Financial literacy – budgeting, benchmarking, and decision analysis
* Business planning and strategic development
* Leadership – communication, people management, and negotiation
* Mindset and self‐development
* Time management and personal productivity
* Entrepreneurship and business systems
* Farm operational efficiency and performance
* Marketing – market development and expansion
Key Responsibilities:
1) Coaching & Facilitation
* Facilitate monthly Mastermind group sessions with energy, structure, and purpose
* Coach members one‐on‐one to support their individual goals and challenges
* Hold members accountable to their commitments and celebrate their progress
* Identify when members are struggling and escalate concerns to the Head Coach as needed
2) Member Experience & Relationships
* Build strong, trusted relationships with your clients and the wider FOA community
* Go the extra mile to deliver an outstanding, personalised experience
* Maintain accurate records of member progress and participation
3) Team & Professional Development
* Follow FOA coaching frameworks and processes to ensure consistency across the team
* Participate in monthly coach training and development sessions
* Attend and contribute to company events and client conferences
* Continuously seek ways to improve your own coaching practice
About You
You bring real‐world business experience and a genuine understanding of the agricultural industry. You're confident talking about financials, strategy and operations, and you're comfortable holding purposeful conversations that drive action and results.
Ideally, you have:
* 3+ years' experience in business ownership or management
* A farming background or strong connection to the agricultural sector
* Solid business acumen and confidence discussing numbers and strategy
* Previous coaching, mentoring or facilitation experience (highly regarded)
* Familiarity with accountability‐based coaching models (advantageous)
You're also someone who:
* Is genuinely member‐focused and cares deeply about helping people succeed
* Has strong follow‐through — you do what you say you'll do, and you expect the same from others
* Communicates clearly, warmly and directly
* Brings calm consistency, even when others are under pressure
* Is highly organised and manages your time well
* Takes initiative and works independently with ease
* Values being part of a collaborative, high‐performing team
* Is willing and able to travel within Australia as required
