What You’ll Be Doing
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the venue, working closely with the on-site management team. This is a true all-rounder role – no two days are the same. From helping behind the bar and in the kitchen, to managing fuel orders or assisting with admin, you’ll be ready to jump in wherever needed.
Key Duties Include:
- Supporting management with the daily operations of the bar, restaurant, accommodation, and shop
- Performing open and close procedures, including during manager's time off and holidays
- Handling stock control, merchandising, pricing, and ordering
- Cash handling, till balancing, and banking
- Light administration including invoice processing
- Monitoring and ordering fuel, conducting fuel dips, and enforcing safety procedures
- Ensuring liquor licensing compliance
- Supervising and supporting junior staff
- Taking care of housekeeping and light maintenance as required

We need someone who thrives in remote settings, has a strong work ethic, and can wear multiple hats. You’re flexible, self-sufficient, and enjoy being part of a small, tight-knit team.
You Must Have:
- Prior experience working in remote environments
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to help across all departments
- A South Australian Responsible Persons Badge (or ability to obtain one)
- A current National Police Check (or ability to obtain one)
- A commitment to stay a minimum of 12 months
- Your own vehicle is essential
- Telstra mobile coverage available on site
