Oracle Database Administrator
Akkodis is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to join our client’s team and support enterprise-scale database environments across both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

What our client requires
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration (on-prem & cloud — Oracle Cloud or AWS RDS)
- Strong understanding of database security, performance tuning, and optimization techniques
- Must be an Australian Citizen with active NV1 Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related products
- Monitor database performance and perform tuning to ensure optimal operation
- Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
About the role
In this role, you will handle core DBA tasks, drive DevOps and automation initiatives, and support cloud migration projects. This position offers ownership of database operations, implementation of best practices, and collaboration to deliver secure, efficient infrastructure.
