We’re seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Advisor to join our Mackay Operations Team, supporting a shutdown-based project running from mid-December 2025 to May 2026.
Location – Blackwater
Planning Phase – Monday to Friday 10hour days
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help drive safety performance on site while building strong relationships with our teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver HSE advice and support on site.
- Promote and uphold HSE standards and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.
- Facilitate inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Occasionally travel to remote sites as needed.
- Foster strong client relationships.
What you will bring
- Previous field experience within the mining industry.
- Dragline and Shutdown highly desirable.
- Certificate IV in OHS and/or Environmental (essential).
- Solid knowledge of Australian HSE and mining legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for safety.
