We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Trainer / Assessor in Brisbane to deliver accredited training in Traffic Control, Traffic Management Implementation, and General Construction Induction (White Card). This full-time role requires a trainer who is fully capable and qualified to deliver the following units: Mandatory capability to deliver: RIIWHS205E – Control Traffic with a Stop/Slow Bat (Level 1) RIIWHS302E – Implement Traffic Management Plans (Level 2) CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card) You will play a key role in delivering practical, engaging training that equips learners with the skills and confidence required to operate safely in real‑world traffic and construction environments. This position involves regular travel across Queensland, delivering training in both metropolitan and regional areas, with overnight stays as required. What you’ll be doing: Deliver accredited training and assessment for RIIWHS205E, RIIWHS302E and CPCWHS1001 Facilitate classroom, practical and on‑site training aligned with RTO and regulatory standards Travel across Queensland to deliver courses at multiple locations Provide engaging, supportive training for learners of varying experience levels Conduct assessments using compliant tools and evidence‑based practices Maintain accurate learner records and ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements Work collaboratively with internal teams, employers and industry stakeholders Support continuous improvement by contributing to training resource and delivery enhancements What you’ll bring: Recent, hands‑on industry experience in traffic control, traffic management, civil construction or roadwork operations This role requires a solid understanding of the TMR sector, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. A progressive, future‑focused mindset driven by a responsive, energetic team Required qualifications, ideally including: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) Current Traffic Controller accreditation Traffic Management Implementation experience and/or qualification General Construction Induction (White Card) Strong understanding of QLD traffic control regulations, safety legislation and onsite procedures Excellent communication and facilitation skills Strong organisation skills and adaptability when working in varied training environments Current driver licence Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Queensland, including overnight stays Why join Global Training Services?
