About the Role
The City of Wanneroo is seeking casual Events Assistants to join their energetic and passionate Events team. The City delivers both small place-based events and large scale events throughout the busy season. Successful applicants will be required to work at City events to assist with ticketing, stage management, set up and pack up, management of activities, and assisting in the effective delivery of high-quality events. The position involves some lifting.
About You
You must be enthusiastic, adaptable and ready to take on a challenge. The role would be perfectly suited to someone who is confident in their ability to communicate and liaise with the community and a variety of stakeholders, whilst providing a high level customer service.
Successful applicants will have the following skills:
* Experience within the events industry and/or in delivering community oriented events (desirable).
* Strong customer service skills with relevant experience in customer service is required.
* Strong communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
* Ability to interact with a diverse range of people; and
* Current First Aid Certificate.
