What you'll be doing
As the Senior Security Officer, you will lead and support the delivery of high-quality security services across the hospital. Your role ensures the safety of patients, staff, visitors and assets while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
Oversee daily security operations and proactively identify and resolve issues
Lead, mentor and supervise Security Officers to maintain high performance standards
Manage incident responses and ensure accurate, timely reporting
Operate and monitor security systems including CCTV, duress alarms and access control
Conduct and lead risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety and security risks

License & Qualification
1A Licence as issued under the Security Industry Act ****
Certificate II in Security O
Current Senior First Aid Certificate
Selection Criteria
NSW Driver Licence with excellent driving record (full or provisional class C)
Strong communication (verbal and written), including reporting, analytical capabilities, conflict resolution and incident management skills
Experience in customer service role, particularly dealing with traffic monitoring
Demonstrated ability to undertake customer service/public relations role and manage difficult situations
Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn current and emerging security and IT systems
Demonstrated ability or significant experience in managing a team to meet organisational deliverables
Excellent interpersonal skills
