Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client relationships and oversee credit risk assessment and financing solutions.
* Evaluate credit applications, financial statements, and market conditions to make informed lending decisions.
* Monitor client portfolios, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, AML/KYC regulations, and risk management protocols.
* Collaborate with clients to tailor financing solutions and drive business growth through cross-sell opportunities.
* Share dual accountability for the top 10 clients in each portfolio with the Relationship Manager.
* Work closely with internal teams (risk, finance, legal) for seamless credit approval processes.
What We're Looking For:
* 3+ years' experience in commercial lending (trade finance, debtor finance, equipment finance, secured/unsecured business lending, overdrafts, lines of credit).
* Strong credit assessment skills and experience with non-conforming loans.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with manual processes in a fast-paced environment.
* Adaptable, collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
* Valid Australian Driver License and own vehicle for regular client site visits.
