The role
About the Position
Bupa Dental Morphett Vale is opening a casual Dental Assistant position to support the delivery of protected, high‐quality dental care and positive patient outcomes. The role requires weekday availability to cover leave and sickness.
Responsibilities
- Assist with clinical procedures including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, and X‐ray assistance.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure all equipment is properly sterilised.
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organised and ready for patient care.
Qualifications
- Experience or a CertificateIII in Dental Assisting (highly regarded, but a genuine passion for the role is welcomed).
- Demonstrated chair‐side assistance skills.
- Strong understanding of infection control, with ability to clean, prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments and equipment in line with BDC procedures and WHS requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient‐focused approach and ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐volume practice while contributing to a supportive team culture.
