About Barmah Park
Based in Victoria's picturesque Mornington Peninsula, Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door has a relaxed yet sophisticated dining room with spectacular panoramic vineyard views. We create exceptional food and wine experiences focusing on local produce that are seasonal and sustainable to showcase our wines.
The restaurant operates Wed to Sun each week for lunch. Friday and Saturday night we also do dinner. Cellar Door is open from 11am each of these days.
About the role
We are looking to bring on an experienced and passionate hospitality professional into a role that offers flexibility to suit their lifestyle and current commitments. This will be a hands on, full-time role supporting the current general manager in all operations of the restaurant.
We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional dining experience for each guests that comes through our doors and require someone with a passion to uphold these standards and values.
You will be given detailed training to build up to a level of confidence and competence in efficiently operating our booking system and expected to oversee maintaining restaurant standards and procedures.
We require an outgoing candidate with a strong work ethic, pride in their service and the desire to learn about the food and wine we are so proud to offer our guests. You will need to show a level of confidence in your management of staff and any issues that may arise during service.
You can expect to work closely with the general manager who will be there to support and help you grow into the role. There is opportunity for the role to extend into the Cellar Door and wholesale operations of the business for the right candidate.

For this role you will have:
* Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
* experience in a role of responsibility within a hospitality business
* a strong work ethic and desire to properly manage your restaurant team
* time management, prioritisation skills and initiative
* an efficient sense of urgency during the busy periods
* an interest in good wine, good food and providing good service to our customers
* time spent behind a coffee machine - this would be a bonus
