- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team working with our major client - Placemaking NSW. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for owning the strategic sourcing, tendering process, contract lifecycle management and supplier performance management, with a focus on both Hard and Soft Facilities Management Services.
- Located at The Rocks and Darling Harbour, this role is being offered on a permanent part time basis of 22.5 hours per week. We are flexible with days and hours, depending on what works best for you.
**Here's what you will focus on**:
- Develop and assist with the implementation of strategies and solutions to optimise building operation and maintenance cost across the client's portfolio
- Assume responsibility for the management of new and existing contract life cycles and negotiations of suppliers delivering hard and soft services
- End to end management of procurement process for select Capital Works Projects and operational contracts
- Assist with contract and scope development, administration of contracts, ensuring supplier performance and contract compliance
- Manage preferred supplier agreement tenders and provide tender analysis
- Monitor and manage vendor performance and service delivery including KPI reporting
**Your Background**:
- Sound experience in Procurement / Contract management with specialist expertise in both Hard and Soft Facilities Management Services or related role.
- Government procurement experience will be highly regarded
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in supply chain, law, engineering or property
- Experience in contract negotiation and managing KPI /contractor performance
- An ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and build strong working relationships
