Your new company
This is an opportunity for someone to work at a single healthcare site as a Maintenance Officer/Painter. You will be joining the facilities team and be reporting to the Head of Facilities on site. This is a casual ongoing role for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential to go on longer for the right person.
Your new role
Joining as a Maintenance Officer/Painter, the vast majority of the work will be doing basic painting tasks of hallways, rooms and other areas of the hospital. The majority of the work will be using a roller and brush to cut the edges in, so only basic painting experience is required. In the times you're not painting, you will assist with general maintenance tasks around the site. Your general duties will be as follows :
* Painting of rooms, halls, and other inside areas of the building
* General maintenance tasks
* Use of reporting tools to ensure work is completed.
* Customer service and interacting with hospital staff members.
* Adhering to health and safety procedures on site.
* Driving to pick up materials when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience as a general handyperson/maintenance, and experience with basic painting/patching work
* Ability to pass a police check
* Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders.
* Basic computer skills
* Current Driving Licence

Competitive rates of $38-43 per hour (Experience dependant)
