We are Across Country Construction - a fast-growing, family-owned company delivering high-quality projects across Darwin, in remote communities, and cattle stations across the NT and WA.
As our Administration Officer, you won't just be handling administrative tasks. You'll be the engine behind the scenes, keeping projects on track, teams supported, and operations running like clockwork.
What You'll Do
• Run weekly payroll, superannuation, and process invoices using Xero, Dext, and Excel
• Track project hours, manage job costing, and support smooth site logistics
• Coordinate job scheduling and apprentice training blocks
• Process POs, receipts, and expenses into project tracking systems
• Keep records tidy and up to date for compliance and reporting
• Own general admin: emails, calls, flights, accommodation, and team support
• Help us stay organised and ahead as we grow
Who This Role Is Perfect For
• You're highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in juggling multiple moving parts
• You know your way around Xero, Dext, and Excel
• You've done payroll, accounts, or project admin before (bonus if it was in trades)
• You love working independently, while being part of a small, supportive team
• You take ownership, communicate clearly, and pride yourself on doing things right
