Our organisation is seeking a Weighbridge Operator to fill a vacant role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The successful candidate will report to the Northern Packing Manager
2. Manage weighbridge operations in accordance with relevant legislation, codes and regulations
3. Maintain accurate records of Purchase and Sales Contract tonnages
4. Assist with inventory management and control
5. Ensure the cleanliness and accuracy of the weighbridge are maintained at all times
6. Generate weekly tickets and invoices as well as monthly statements
7. Coordinate daily bookings for loads into site and liaise with clients and growers
8. Communicate effectively with truck drivers, handle enquiries and follow up where required
Requirements:
o Previous experience in a weighbridge environment (preferable)
o High level of attention to detail
o Proficiency in MS Office suite
o Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
o Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
o Experience in the grain industry an advantage
