The role
As the Supply & Distribution Manager with Coral Coast Distributors, you are an integral part of the team that makes up a locally owned business that is an industry leader in the area. In this role you will plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of goods managed by our organisation. You will be responsible for the securing of stock, management of inventory and distribution of stock to all locations. You will work closely with suppliers and the management team.
The Supply & Distribution Manager will assist in achieving long term goals for Coral Coast Distributors, build key supplier relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close business deals. To ensure the delivery of the above the Supply & Distribution Manager must maintain extensive knowledge of the current market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
Negotiate purchases with suppliers
Manage international shipping of stock, including customs
Coordinate warehouse deliveries and the incoming management of stock into the inventory management system including barcoding
Oversee inventory management in warehouses
Oversee internal ordering of stock for retail locations
Oversee picking and packing of stock orders for retail locations
Oversee shipping of stock to retail locations
Manage quality control or all incoming and outgoing inventory
Manage returns with suppliers
Manage pipeline and timelines of stock orders
Oversee Inventory Management System
Oversee operational, administrative and project management support to any other projects being undertaken by the business

The following will be highly regarded
Qualification in Business or Logistics
Previous experience in a Management role
Previous experience in large scale inventory management
Previous experience in international procurement
Excellent time management
Project management experience
Experience with industry software programs
Desktop, tablet and mobile device experience
National Police Criminal History Report (less than three months old) with acceptable
outcome.
