**Job Description**:
This role works to develop and deliver a training and awareness program relating to TAL's data management in order to improve data management literacy and culture. It also specifically supports the uplift of TAL's data management capabilities and services.
- Identify data management training and awareness requirements
- Develop and publish education artefacts
- Develop and deliver data management roadshows and deep dives
- Collaborate with relevant SMEs and teams to develop content
- Collaborate with business units to develop specific data management education programs
- Complete change impact assessments
- Create and implement communication to support data initiatives.
Under the direction of the Practice Lead, Data Management, this role contributes to TAL building a data driven culture, assisting all staff to reach a level of data management literacy that complies with TAL's data management policies. This role collaborates with TAL's Learning and Development and change management functions.
**Identify data management training and awareness requirements.**
Use your knowledge of Data Management leading practices to set a baseline of training requirements aligned to TAL's approach and priorities. Define measures of success and continually monitor.
**Develop and maintain education artefacts and deliver data management roadshows**
Lead the development of data management education materials that will enable all staff to understand data management to a level appropriate for their role. This includes policy, frameworks, company-wide mandatory online learning modules, handbooks, guides, etc. including digital content for all data roles and opportunities for self-learning. Maintain the online (intranet) presence of the Enterprise Data Management team. Whilst being accountable for the content and the primary contributor, collaboration will be required with relevant SMEs and teams to develop the content. For example, working with Enterprise Data Management team, People & Culture, and Learning & Development team.
**Develop Business Unit specific data management education programs**
Partner with business unit representatives to develop education plans tailored to business unit roles, roadmaps and programs. The plans will utilise standard modular education artefacts developed for TAL. Support each business unit on their education journey.
**Complete change impact assessments**
Complete change impact assessments for initiatives uplifting data management capabilities. Create and implement communication to support data management change initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in developing, implementing and supporting data management culture, training and awareness programs
- Experience with developing training material on digital platforms
- Ability to work across executive leadership, business operational and technical teams
- Excellent relationship development, influencing and written / verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions
- Ability to evangelise data management as critical business capabilities
- Ability to translate data culture issues to business issues
- Understanding of and ability to define business requirements, business processes and operational policies
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Atlassian Confluence
