The Role
You'll manage the end-to-end delivery of new builds and refurbishment projects including:
Full project lifecycle management from feasibility through to handover
Budget management, cost control and commercial negotiation
Tender management and contractor/consultant procurement
Stakeholder liaison across Real Estate, Operations, Business Partners and external parties
Ensuring compliance with NCC/BCA, WHS legislation and brand standards
Post-completion activities including defect management and project evaluation
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering or related discipline
3-4 years' construction project management experience (commercial or retail advantageous, would consider two years for top performers)
Demonstrated experience managing projects end-to-end
Strong understanding of NCC/BCA, building legislation, WHS requirements
Contract administration experience (preferably Australian Standard Forms)
Excellent communication skills—you'll interact with everyone from executives to contractors
Self-motivated, organised and able to work autonomously
WA driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally as required
Experience in retail, hospitality or fast-paced commercial environments
Exposure to fast-track construction programs
Understanding of SOPA legislation and payment claim processes
