Your management skills will be used in supporting the achievement of set financial targets, leading and inspiring the team, co-creating the best experiences for our clients and ensuring compliance with all external bodies.A local landmark located in Hillside, The Sugar Gum Hotel is a favourite with the locals.
The venue boasts a spacious family bistro, large kids areas to keep them entertained for hours, plus a casual area referred to as \"the social\" the go-to spot for a pre-dinner cocktail or a casual catch-up with friends.Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) operating as part of The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) is proud to be recognised as a 2022, 2023 & 2024 Winner of The Australian Business Awards for Employer of Choice.ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the achievement of set financial targets.Stock control and management.Ensure front-of-house ambiance and appearance are appropriate at all times.Staff management including rostering, training, and performance management.Coordination, execution, and evaluation of promotions.Manage venue auditing and compliance requirements.The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.QualificationsPrevious experience in hospitality management.Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG).
