Job Description
Join us as a volunteer in a unique initiative connecting rural textile communities in Argentina and China. Together, we aim to preserve ancestral knowledge, promote sustainable textile practices, and foster international cooperation around sustainability and social innovation.
- Facilitate a deep understanding of rural textile communities, their traditions, and cultural values.
- Support the building of trustful relationships, conduct interviews and qualitative mapping of ancestral knowledge, and ensure that activities and workshops are culturally sensitive and respectful.
Volunteer Logistics
Estimated hours required per week: 10-15. The estimated duration of the project is: 3-6 months. This position is Virtual (Remote).
Language Requirements
English.
Desired Skills And Experience
Background or understanding of anthropology, ethnography, cultural studies, or related fields. Experience or familiarity with qualitative research methods. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work respectfully with diverse communities.
