The Company

Our client is a successful medium size, fast growing business in the bulk lubricant and chemicals industry. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of supply chain activities across procurement, inventory, production planning, and logistics.

The Opportunity

This is a key coordination role supporting the smooth day-to-day execution of supply chain activities across procurement, inventory, production planning, and logistics.

You'll be joining a team environment where accuracy, proactive follow-up, and clear stakeholder communication make a tangible difference to service levels, cost control, and continuous improvement.

The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders including operations, business managers, customer service and finance, and liaise externally with suppliers and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities include:

* Coordinating purchase orders in line with approved plans and supplier agreements
* Tracking supplier deliveries and following up on delays, shortages, and discrepancies
* Maintaining supplier data including pricing, lead times, and documentation
* Supporting clear communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Coordinating inbound/outbound logistics with warehouses and transport providers
* Acting as a key point of contact for supply chain-related queries
* Supporting monthly S&OP processes with data, updates, and coordination
* Monitoring shipment schedules and keeping stakeholders updated on ETAs and delays
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes
* Supporting timely processing of supplier invoices
* Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

The Successful Supply Chain Coordinator

We're seeking someone who combines strong coordination capability with analytical thinking and a "follow-through" mindset.

Ideal background/strengths:

* Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving ability
* Confident communicator who can build effective working relationships
* Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite experience highly regarded if applicable)
* Strong Excel/data capability and comfort working with detail and deadlines
* Understanding of procurement, shipping and logistics workflows
* A team-first, adaptable approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance
