**Duties**:
- Selection of sub-contractors and letting of trades.
- Progress payment, variation and final accounts.
- Produce budget and cost reports.
- Review sub-contractor, client and developer variations.
- Prepare progress reports and program.
- Prepare contracts for sub-contractors.
- Purchase of materials and equipment.
- Implement cost control measures and financial reporting scheme.
- Interpret conditions of contracts.
- Negotiation and planning. Also coordinating with the Project Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- A Quantity Surveyor plays a strong role in the contract and financial area of the project.
- They are involved in all aspects of the costing, budgeting, forecasting and contractual nature of the project and are responsible for reporting back to the Project Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
**Must Have**:
- Civil related degree
- Demonstrated history as Quantity Surveyor or Contract Administrator on these types of jobs
- Right to work in Australia (not requiring sponsorship)
Remuneration range is $120k to 160k + Super
