Responsibilities
Provide individualized, high-quality care to patients/clients within a health service environment, working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse/Midwife to support safe, person-centred outcomes.
* Deliver direct care within scope of practice and delegation
* Support patients with daily care, mobility and communication needs
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation to guide ongoing care
* Assist with clinical procedures, equipment cleaning and preparation
* Contribute to safety, quality improvement and WHS practices

* Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or be enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing (second year)
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
* Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems
* Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and stay within the scope of practice of an AIN
* Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
* Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication with the multidisciplinary health care team
