Senior Regional Manager for Australia Southern States
Halterm, a pioneering technology firm, seeks an exceptional leader to spearhead its expansion in the Australian southern states. As Senior Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue across the region.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial acumen, charisma, and strategic leadership skills. You will lead a team of Territory Managers and drive commercial execution while developing and implementing regional strategies to expand market presence and growth.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement regional strategies to drive growth and revenue across the Australian southern states.
* Lead a team of Territory Managers and drive commercial execution.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, customers, and industry leaders.
* Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within the region.
Requirements:
* Market leadership: Demonstrated knowledge of farm systems in VIC, TAS, and SA, alongside commercial nous and critical thinking.
* Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to think critically from Halter's mission and regional challenges to drive a strategy that expands market presence and growth.
* Sales & Commercial: Ownership of the end-to-end go-to-market strategy in VIC, TAS & SA, collaborating to deliver results from lead generation to conversion and customer outcomes.
* Sales Leadership & Results: Setting targets, driving KPIs, and motivating a team to achieve ambitious results.
* Sales Process: Understanding of value-based consultative sales process and evolving Halter's sales process for VIC, TAS & SA markets.
* Customer Success: Driving efficient and scalable customer experiences that support retention and ARR expansion.
* Technical Team Leadership: Hands-on leader who engages with customers and teams to deliver solutions.
* Team Management: Setting clear performance expectations, providing feedback, and cultivating a positive collaborative culture.
* Training and Development: Designing and implementing training programs to develop capabilities.
* Recruiting: Involved in building teams, sourcing candidates, and attracting talent.
* Cultural Leadership: Tenacious gritty leadership that motivates and focuses the team.
* Set a high-performance culture: Leading with high standards and accountability while building psychological safety and inclusivity.
* Performance Management: Increasing team capability and addressing underperformance as needed.
What Your Day Could Look Like:
* Field Meetings, Learnings & Feedback: Leading from the front, in the field with farmers, assisting on sales and customer calls, training the team, and gathering customer feedback.
* Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing regional strategy to expand market presence and growth; identifying new opportunities.
* Team Leadership: Leading a team of Territory Managers and driving commercial execution.
* State Ownership: Owning state-level relationships with regional agricultural groups to drive Halter's commercial outcomes.
* Hitting Sales Targets: Managing pipelines to meet high-growth targets; setting KPIs and training the team to achieve results.
* Prospecting & Expansion: Sourcing new leads through outbound outreach, referrals, and events; managing full sales pipeline to close.
* Collaborating with Support Teams: Partnering with Support to resolve issues quickly and ensuring customers feel supported.
* Customer Success: Ensuring a positive customer experience across the lifecycle and coordinating with support teams for retention and expansion.
* Recruiting: Sourcing and interviewing candidates and supporting state resourcing plans.
* Networking: Building and leveraging industry relationships to enhance Halter's brand.
* Forecasting: Enabling monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting with GTM leaders.
