About the Role
HSM Senior Developer – Senior technical contributor delivering HSM‐backed cryptographic solutions. Work closely with the HSM Technical Lead to implement secure key handling, automation, and integrations using Thales Luna and YubiHSM platforms.
Responsibilities
* Implement advanced HSM configurations and security controls.
* Develop and maintain HSM automation for key generation, import, export, and wrapping workflows.
* Enforce policy‐driven key usage.
* Integrate with PKI and KMS platforms via APIs.
* Validate cryptographic operations using hardware‐protected keys.
* Support HSM backup, recovery, and lifecycle management.
* Perform peer reviews of HSM configuration and automation.
* Integrate cryptographic services into CI/CD pipelines.
* Provide technical guidance to HSM Analysts.
Qualifications
* 4–6+ years of cryptography, PKI, or security engineering experience.
* 3+ years of hands‐on experience with HSM platforms (Thales Luna, YubiHSM, or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of PKCS#11 and cryptographic APIs.
* Solid understanding of FIPS requirements and HSM security models.
* Ability to deliver complex HSM tasks independently.
Security Clearance
Current NV2 Security Clearance.
