Our members include six Councils, two Landscape Boards, Regional Development Australia, Southern & Hills LGA and Department of Environment and Water. Representatives from each partner form a passionate Steering Committee (SC), enabling genuine cross-sector collaboration.
Resilient Hills & Coasts (RH&C) are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Coordinator to drive regional climate action across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.
About the Role
The Coordinator is the central point of contact and facilitation for the partnership. You will enable effective governance, sustain momentum, and strengthen the partnership's capacity to Connect, Influence and Deliver climate action. As Coordinator, you will:
* Support delivery of the RH&C Regional Climate Action Plan 2025-2030.
* Support the Steering Committee to share skills and knowledge and build social capital.
* Enable Steering Committee members to accelerate climate action in partner organisations.
* Scope, secure funding for, and manage strategic regional climate projects.
* Identify and pursue opportunities to accelerate climate action in the region.
* Influence and advocate for a more enabling environment for climate action.

* An exceptional written and verbal communicator—making the case for and securing funding (e.g., grant writing), and influencing and advocating (e.g., policy submissions).
* Well organised—managing projects, providing executive officer support to the Steering Committee, and managing your own time and tasks.
* Passionate about climate action.
Position details:
* 0.4 FTE contract to 30 June 2027, with a competitive monthly fee.
* Requires your own ABN, IT, vehicle, insurance.
* Flexible work location, with meetings across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island region.
